Kitchee edge South China in FA Cup Final to clinch treble

Kitchee have underlined their dominance in Hong Kong after defeating South China 2-1 in the FA Cup Final to win the domestic treble for this season.

Goals from Andreas Lam and Sandro saw Kitchee lead 2-0 at the Mong Kok Stadium.

South China pulled a goal back from Chu Siu Kei but it was too little too late.

Kitchee have clinched the domestic treble (Senior Shield, League and FA Cup) and secured a place in the AFC Champions League next season.

Kitchee manager Alex Chu has successfully navigated Kitchee to one of their most successful seasons since their last treble triumph in 2014/15.

Kitchee’s simple yet effective passing game has won them praise from fans and pundits alike, yet the real test will be in the AFC Champions League when they face the best teams from around Asia.
