Buriram United terminate Rogerinho Coutinho’s contract

Buriram United today announce their mutual agreement to terminated contract with Rogerio Coutinho.

The Brasilian attacking midfielder agreed to the contract termination due to his limited chance of playing after recovering from a long-term injury early in the season.

Buriram United manager Ranko Popović revealed that Rogerinho had talked to the club about his future and his departure would be beneficial for both parties.

“The two main reasons for this talk are football and family,” Pitakapool said.

“The fact that Rogerinho wants to play more is true. And also his wife and newborn child want to return to Brazil.”

“It’s a shame. Because he is our hope and we expected so much. We would like to wish that Rogerinho succeeds in the future,” the Buriram manager added.

Ranko Popović also said that Buriram are looking to land another foreign player to fill the quota.
