AFC U-23 Championship qualification draw results in full

The 2018 AFC U-23 Championship qualification draw took place on Friday evening at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

China, as final tournament hosts, are automatically qualified but will play in the qualifying stage where they are pitted in Group J along with Japan, Philippines and Cambodia.

In this round, the ten group winners and five best second-placed teams among all the groups will advance to the finals.

The qualifiers will take place from July 19 to 23 in the respective host countries which are Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Palestine, Myanmar, North Korea, Thailand and China.

West Zone

Group A: Iran, Oman, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka
Group B: Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Afghanistan
Group C: Qatar, Syria, India, Turkmenistan
Group D: UAE, Uzbekistan, Lebanon, Nepal
Group E: Jordan, Tajikistan, Palestine, Bangladesh

East Zone

Group F:  Australia, Myanmar, Singapore, Brunei
Group G:  North Korea, Laos, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong
Group H:  Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia
Group I:   South Korea, Vietnam, Timor Leste, Macau
