Tianjin Quanjian have denied rumors that they are set to renew their interest in Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang was linked with a move to China in July before deciding to stay at Bundesliga’s side.
“It is out of the question,” Tianjin Quanjian owner Shu Yuhui told reporters. “We were within touching distance of bringing in Aubameyang, but it didn’t work out. It’s a great shame. Case closed!”
Aubameyang finished as the Bundesliga’s top scorer last season with 31 goals. He has been linked with the likes of Chelsea, AC Milan and teams in the Chinese Super League.
