Bangkok United has announced the signing of German winger Chinedu Ede from FC Twente.
This deal has been confirmed by Bangkok United on their official website, with the photo of Ede holding the shirt number 17.
Raised by a German mother and a Nigerian father, Ede has already featured for Germany’s under-19, U-20 and U-21 sides. In 2009, he was included in the German U21 national team and won the UEFA Under-21 Championship alongside now-famous Manuel Neuer, Mesut Oezil, Jerome Boateng and Mats Hummels.
In club level, the 30-year-old started his senior career with the youth team of Hertha Berlin in 2015, before being promoted to the first team a year later.
After having experienced in many Bundesliga clubs, Ede left Germany to search for fortune in Greece before landing at the Eredivisie side FC Twente in 2016, where he made 48 appearances and scored 6 goals.
