Mohamed Sissoko’s first goal for Mitra Kukar helped the club salvage one point away at Persija Jakarta.
Sissoko’s late goal also prolonged Persija Jakarta’s winless streak as the two sides drew 1-1 at the Bekasi Patriot Stadium on Sunday.
Bruno Lopes opened the score for the home side in the 37th minute despite intense pressure from Mitra Kukar in the first half.
The visitors pushed the tempo higher in the second half in search of an equaliser and it came in the 90th minute when Sissoko headed home from an Anindito corner.
The one point, however, helped Persija moved out of the danger zone and climbed up to the 15th position on the table.
Mitra Kukar rose to 6th place with 9 points after six matches.
