Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been heavily linked with a switch to the Chinese Super League and Antonio Conte is believed to be making plans should the 28-year-old choose to leave this summer.
The Blues previously rejected rumors of a Chinese club making a lucrative bid for Costa during the winter transfer window.
Costa has been in superb form this season, netting 17 goals in 26 Premier League appearances.
In a recent interview with Telefoot, Costa has said he would consider playing for Marseille but insists he is happy at Chelsea.
“It’s true that Marseille has a great project and is growing,” he said.
“I’m very happy with Chelsea, but in football, everything can happen, and if we have to change, France is a place where I’ve never been to I never played, so why not.”
The Blues are currently 10 points clear of Tottenham at the top of the table with the end of the campaign fast approaching.
Chelsea are believed to make bids for their former player Romelu Lukaku or French striker Antoine Griezmann in case Costa opts to leave the London club.
