Malaysia international midfielder Brendan Gan has joined Selangor FA from Perak ahead of the 2020 Malaysia Super League season.
Widely expected to move abroad with rumored approaches from the Thai League, Gan has chosen to remain in Malaysia. The midfielder appeared to be tempted by the Red Giants, who finished third in the league last season.
After making 29 appearances and scoring five goals in central midfield with Perak last season, Gan has impressed for the national team in recent weeks.
He scored his first goal for Harimau Malaya last month, netting in a crucial win against Thailand which has put the Tigers in contention for a place in the next round of World Cup Qualifying.
