Bandovic’s Agent Denies Buriram Departure Claims

News has been circulating in Thai media concerning the future of Buriram United coach Bozidar Bandovic, after he presided over the club’s first trophyless season since 2010. In addition, outlets such as Siamsport went as far as to claim that the coach has already left the club

However, Bandovic’s agent Dejan Vukadinovic has denied these claims, stating that the Montenegrin boss is still under contract is could continue his work at the club next season.

Contrary to reports, Vukadinovic claims that Buriram’s ownership have been impressed by Bandovic’s willingness to incorporate youth. The Thunder Castle see youth development as an imperative and hope to continue on this current path to future success.

Players such as Supachok Sarachat, Suphanat Mueanta, Sasalak Haiprakhon, Supachai Jaided and Rattanakorn Maikami have progressed excellently under his guidance, with many of them becoming full Thai internationals.

Additionally, during his current tenure at the club, Bandovic presided over two league title wins, beating the league’s points record in each of those campaigns.

In fact, Bandovic demonstrated his commitment to Buriram United when he rejected the opportunity to be the head coach of the Montenegro National Team in June, foregoing a return to his homeland in favor of staying with the Thai champions.

It remains to be seen what will happen to the club and their future plans as they head into the transfer window. However, the important news is that the fate of their coach certainly hasn’t been decided yet.
