Iran have announced their squad for the upcoming 2022 World cup qualifiers against Cambodia and Bahrain, with several big names missing out on Marc Wilmots’ latest selection.
Brighton’s Alireza Jahanbakhsh who has missed his place in the Seagull’s starting line-up, Esteghlal Captain Voria Ghafori and Persepolis defender Shoja Khalilzadeh were not called up to Team Melli squad.
On the other hand, the Belgian manager has invited Mehrdad Mohammadi (Desportivo Aves), Payam Niazmand, Morteza Mansouri and and Mohammad Mohebbi (Sepahan) and Mehdi Taremi (Rio Ave) for the first time.
