World Cup Qualifying Matchday 1 – Malaysia Player Ratings

Malaysia pulled off an incredible 3-2 win against Indonesia on the opening day of World Cup qualifying, invigorating the side ahead of what looks to be a difficult campaign. Football Tribe Malaysia writer Amin Anas rates the Tigers’ players during their win over their old rivals.

Farizal Marlias – 6/10: Farizal had a decent game but unfortunately conceeded two goals due to a defending error.

Matthew Davis – 6/10: While he was a bit weak in defense, Matt Davies helped a lot in the attack.

Shahrul Saad – 7/10: It was a solid performance by the Perak defender, who made it difficult for the Indonesian players to pass him.

Adam Nor Azlin – 6/10: Not at his best in last night’s game.
