August 24 was a good day for Korean football fans, indeed.

Kwon Chang-hoon scored his first goal in Bundesliga. The 25-year-old Korean international left his former team Dijon and joined SC Freiburg in Germany before the 2019/2020 season started.

He missed the opening game of the league against FSV Mainz 05, and seemed that he was going to miss the following match against Padeborn yesterday as well, until he was substituted in on 85 minutes.

Making a debut in the German league is indeed exciting, but scoring a goal is even better. He scored his first goal 5 minutes after stepping on the ground, turning a green light on his career in Germany. The team won 3:1.

Hwang Ui-jo found the net as well. The ex-Gamba Osaka forward moved to FC Girondins de Bordeaux opened the scoring in the 10th minute in his third match since his arrival in France.
