Andrea Stramaccioni storms out of press conference demanding respect

Esteghlal Italian manager Andrea Stramaccioni walked out the press conference after 1-0 defeat against Mashin Sazi.

Esteghlal have lost in Stramaccioni’s dubut at Mashin Sazi’s home with an exquisite free kick in 95 minutes but Italian manager angered due to absence of his translator during the match and press conference.

Stramaccioni’s translator has not received his ID card due to problems in paper works and Esteghlal manager described the circumstances as “sabotage”.

“About the game, there was things that is not acceptable for me, that the first game of an Italian coach in Iran after two month of work, I don’t know who, I don’t know it’s Federation, I don’t know if it was Esteghlal but in the first game of an Italian coach in Asia was not translator on the bench. This is not respect and this is not tolerable for me. If someone has problem with me, it’s better to say it open, not this kind of tricks.

For me, these two months was full of problem but I won’t give up but what happened today was not respect to me. If you come to Italy and make first game without your translator, what is this? Sabotage! But I don’t give up.”
