Best Free Players with Champions League Experience (Part 1)

That young Abate, who watching Paolo Maldini playing from the bench, has now already turned 33.

The player left Milan at the and of 2018/2019 season after many years of experience in this big club. No new club has been found yet.

However, last year Abate showed his amazing skills filling the hole left by Davide Calabria, who was injured. We all know is too early for him to retire.

Yohan Cabaye

On 2011 he joined Newcastle United and on 2014 Paris Saint-Germain buy him. With PSG, he surpassed the group stage and even scored a goal in the Round of 16 of the Champions League.

Last year, Al Nasr brought him for free but his contract reached the end. Free from the start of the summer market, Cabaye still didn’t hasn’t a team but we are pretty sure it would be nice to see again his play in Europe.

Franck Ribéry

Even a star like him, who has played in two World Cups as a French national team member, hasn’t found a team yet.

Now he has turned 36 and we are pretty sure he’s still able to play at high levels.

There are rumors about his new destinations, such as PSV or the Middle East (Qatar, Saudi Arabia), but no specific information has been reported yet.
