Saudi side Al Ittihad defeated Iranian team Zob Ahan 2-1 in the first leg of AFC Champions league last 16.
Zob Ahan are the only Iranian team who qualified for the AFC Champions league knock out round this year when Captain Qasim Haddadifar has found back on the net with a pinpoint free-kick in 7th minute, it seemed they could go through to next stage easily.
But just after 2 minutes, Al Ittihad reached to equalizer. Zob Ahan shaky defense gave chance to Luis Jiminez and he managed to poke the ball over the line.
In second half Al Ittihad palyers have showed better performances and finally took the lead in minute 71. Defender Ziyad al Sahafi scored Al Ittihad winner with a thumping header from a corner.
The second leg will held at Doha, Qatar, next week and Alireza Mansourian men could get through to the next round with 1-0 win.
