The 19-year-old attacking midfielder's excellent technique and urgency on the ball cause the opposition all sort of problem and it was Ekanit who opened the scoring in the 38th minute - slipping past two defenders and firing a powerful shot into the near post with his weaker left foot.

Electric attacker Supachok Sarachat bagged himself an assist and a goal as Buriram United fended off Samut Prakan City in the battle the league's top spot. The 21-year-old burst through with pace before playing a cut-back pass onto the path of his younger brother Suphanat Mueanta who met it with a fine strike to score the side's second goal. For their third, Supachok demonstrated a fine finish of his own - cutting inside from the left flank and curling a long shot into the far post.
