Manchester City Asia’s tour seems to be not as good as we imagined before it started.
After losing to Wolverhampton during the final round of the Premier League Asia Trophy, the club was criticized by the Chinese media agency Xinhua.
Xinhua published an article with the following title: “Chinese Manchester City fans’ love is not appreciated by the club”
The Chinese media explain how the behavior of the English club during the tour was so “Arrogant and unrespectful”.
Then the media criticized also coach Guardiola, who did not greet the fans after the game against West ham in Nanjing.
Unlike Manchester City, the other premier league clubs such as Wolverhampton were praised for their good behavior and engagement and participation in some local supporters event.

At the end of the match, the Chinese media remember also how Manchester City trip was filled by delays. Their trip to China was canceled two times and they landed more than 48 hours behind schedule.
