Johor Darul Ta’zim’s (JDT) will visit the Manjung Stadium in Perak to face PKNP FC in the Super League action, tomorrow night, and will certainly be looking for a sixth consecutive league championship.

JDT are now comfortable at the top of the table after collecting 39 points, with Pahang in second with just 26. Hence the victory over Abu Bakar Fadzim’s squad will be demanded by JDT manager Luciano Figueroa, who has urged his South Tigers squad to be consistent.

If JDT manages to win against PKNP FC tomorrow night, they will face the remaining three matches against Selangor at Tan Sri Hassan Yunos Stadium, Larkin on Wednesday, followed by Melaka United Stadium at Hang Jebat Stadium (June 26) and face Perak on July 7. Victories in all three will mean that the title will be secured for yet another season.

Meanwhile, Selangor will host Kuala Lumpur in their Super League match at the Shah Alam Stadium this Saturday. Sean Eugene Selvara, who has so far scored two goals, hopes he can keep the momentum going and secure the three point to the team.

“After losing to Terengganu FC (TFC) 1-0 on May 25, Selangor needs to get better with the rest of the rivals and it should start with a match against Kuala Lumpur.”

The return of Berlin-born import, Patrick Reichelt to Melaka United (MU) after coming back from international duty with the Philippines had relieved coach Zainal Abidin Hassan ahead of a meeting with Terengganu FC (TFC) at Hang Jebat Stadium on Saturday. After lining in the Filipino squad, the naturalized player is now the best bet for Zainal to tear through TFC’s net, having been one of the side’s most prolific strikers this season.

“Whatever we expect, he will be the main focus of the opposition defense to prevent their defending fortunes. “Even if he is the focus of the opponent, he will certainly open the door for Davy Angan and other local players to create the next move to create a goal,” he said.
