Falkesgaard pulled off an excellent save in the 28th minute to deny Sergio Suarez's powerful strike. The Philipines international was also outstanding with his long throws and passing, which contributed to his side buildup and counter-attacking plays.

Defender

Name: Damir Memovic

Age: 30

Nationality: Serbia

Club: Song Lam Nghe An

Memovic was strong in defense, making many tackles to contribute to Song Lam Nghe An's record of 8 games without conceding a goal

Defender

Name: Elias Dolah

Age: 26

Nationality: Thailand/Sweden

Club: Port FC

Dolah demonstrated why many fans are calling for him to be selected for the Thai national team with a strong performance that saw Port FC share points with Bangkok United, marking the first time in previous 8 league meetings that Port were not beaten by the Angels.

Although lacking in pace, the towering defender compensated this weakness with great timing and decision making as evidenced by how he covered for fellow teammates and dominated the right-side of defense. Dolah headed in the opening goal in the 13th minute and kept his standard high all game.

Club: Kedah

As well as playing an important role in defense, Yusof's cross in the 71st minute secured all three points for Kedah in their match against Melaka United

Right Midfielder

Name: Artur Gevorkyan

Age: 34

Nationality: Turkmenistan

Club: Persib Bandung

Needing to fend off doubts from Persib's supporters, known as the Vikings,  Artur had an excellent debut with Maung Bandung when he fired two shots into Persipura Jayapura's net.

Central Midfielder

Name: Nguyen Hai Huy

Age: 28

Nationality: Vietnam

Club: Than Quang Ninh

Nguyen Hai Huy controlled the midfield and helped his team dominate Ho Chi Minh City for most of the match. His Than Quang Ninh side were very unfortunate to lose this game against the league leaders.

Name: Baddrol Bakhtiar

Age: 31

Nationality: Malaysia

Club: Kedah

He scored an important goal to inspire Kedah to beat Melaka United after being going behind.

Left Midfielder

Name: Ciro Alves

Age: 30

Nationality: Brazil

Club: TIRA-Persikabo

Former Chonburi's star from Salgueiro continued his outstanding performance with the Indonesian army team based in Bogor and score 2 goals into the 'new' team's net, Badak Lampung FC (formerly Perseru Serui). Ciro also made one assist for the club's captain, Andy Setyo, from a corner kick.

Name: Amadou Ouattara

Age: 28

Nationality: Côte d'Ivoire

Club: Nakhon Ratchasima FC

Amadou Ouattara was simply untouchable in one-on-one duels. He slipped past his marker, cut inside from the right, and played a delightful through ball for Leandro Assumpção to open the scoring. With the Swatcat leading 3-2, Ouattara fired in his side's 4th goal, killing off the game in the last minute of stoppage time. The Ivorian attacker has now been involved with six goals so far this season, helping his team to a comfortable 5th place in the league.

Club: Madura United

"Age is just a number," which was a perfect proverb to describe how dangerous Beto Goncalves is inside the penalty box. Beto scored 2 goals against Persela Lamongan, taking Madura United to a 1-5 win in the Surajaya stadium and now leading the Liga 1 top scorers list.

Name: Jeremie Lynch

Age: 28

Nationality: Jamaica

Club: Hai Phong

The forward scored a double to help Hai Phong come back to a 2-2 draw after his side were trailing by two goals. He has now scored 6 goals in the league this season.
