Melaka United ended their winless run when they beat Kedah 1-0 in the Super League at the Hang Jebat Stadium in Paya Rumput. The game was decided by a header from Brazilian striker Casagrande in the second half.
PKNS FC coach K Rajagobal insisted that a hectic match schedule affected his side as they lost 1-3 against Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) at league action at Stadium Tan Sri Hassan Yunos, Larkin, last night. Rajagobal said the tight schedule did not only affect his team, but clubs across the division, as they didn’t have much time to prepare for this round of league matches.
Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur coach Chong Yee Fatt admitted his men did not show a ‘beautiful’ game when they beat Petaling Jaya City (PJ City) 1-0 in the Super League at the Boalsepak Stadium in Kuala Lumpur yesterday night. However, he thanked his players for winning three points in the effort to bring the team out of the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, in the Malaysian Premier League Kelantan coach Yusri Che Lah admitted that he was disappointed after his men suffered a defeat against Negeri Sembilan at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium yesterday. Coach Yusri admitted he is very surprised and disappointed that his squad was beaten 5-2 easily by the opponent. He also cited hectic scheduling, noting that he struggled to adequately prepare the side during the mere two days he had available to him.
