The Kirin also shocked the Thai League by announcing the return of Macedonian playmaker Mario Gjurovski from Bangkok Glass.

Bangkok Glass themselves, now known as BGC Pathum United, have also been active in the transfer market. Despite being relegated to the second division, the side have made a move for Chiangrai United goalkeeper Chatchai Budprom, and have also acquired the services of Singapore international Irfan Fandi.

Meanwhile, their local rivals Bangkok United have continue their off-season spending spree. Having already secured deals for national teams stars Tristan Do and Peerapat Notchaiya, as well as rising starlet Anon Amornlerdsak, the side have added El Salvador international Nelson Bonilla to their ranks. Bonilla scored 25 goals from 33 league appearances for relegation threatened Sukhothai FC last season, making him one of the most prolific attackers in the league.

Sukhothai themselves have been making moves in the transfer market, hiring Siam Navy head coach Ljubomir Ristovski and adding defenders Ratchaburi FC defender Joel Sami to their squad as they gear up for a third season in the Thai top flight.

Going the other way, Ratchaburi have signed goalkeeper Pairoj Eiammak from Sukhothai. The Dragons have also added Air Force Central FC striker Yodsak Chaowana and winger Steeven Langil from NEC FC in the Belgian League to their ranks.

Chonburi FC have begun an overhaul of their foreign player roster. So far, the side have signed former Notts County defender Mawouna Avremor from Moroccan side Al Hoceima. The sharks have also added Myanmar internationals Zaw Min Tun and Sinthu Aung to their squad on loan deals from Yangon United and Yadanarbon respectively.

Elsewhere, Prachuap FC signed prolific Krabi striker Supot Jodjam, and have acquired Thai-Italian midfielder Antonio Verzura from relegated Ubon UMT United. Unfortunately, the side failed to hold star man Jonathan Reis, who is set to depart the club after he was denied a substantial salary increase.

Lastly, defending champions Buriram United have strengthened their squad by signing Philippines international left-back Stephan Palla from SKN St. Polten in the Austrian Bundesliga.
