Firstly, Madura United take on Persija Jakarta on Sunday. The home team current sits in the 3rd position, while Persija are level on points and a mere spot below them on goal difference. The winner of this match will have a chance to  keep the title race wide open, as league leaders Persib Bandung are likely to struggle to pick up all three points this weekend.
Persib take on Persipura Jayapura in the weekend’s second big match. Persipura themselves may not be title contenders this season, with an eleven point deficit standing between them and the league leaders. However, the side are formidable at home and are unlikely to allow Persib easy massage. They have only lost one game on their own patch, shipping only 6 goals for the entire season.
