Coach Worrawoot Srimaka: Thailand will face a tough job in 2018 Asian Games

Thailand’s Asian Games team coach Worrawoot Srimaka admitted that his side would face a difficult job in the tournament.

Thailand have been drawn in Group B with Uzbekistan, Qatar, and Bangladesh for the first round of the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia next month.

“This is a very hard group, Uzbekistan were the champions of AFC U-23 Championship, and Qatar played the semi-final while we could not pass the group stage,” Worrawoot said in a press conference.

“Now we know who will join us. We will have warm-up games with Bahrain, Myanmar and also Nepal so we can simulate a game at Asian Games.

“We have 30 players but we don’t know who will have an injury, but we will select the best 23 players on the final day before Asian Games.”
