Kawin Thamsatchanan talks about adapting to Belgian football

Thai goalkeeper, who plays for OH Leuven team in Belgian First Division B, reveals the differences between playing football in Belgium and Thailand in an interview with Belgian media outlet ROB-tv.

Kawin left Muangthong United to join OH Leuven in January on a five-year contract. The 28-year-old has played 2 games for the reserve team and then was included in the main first-team squad for 2 matches.

“Fields in Thailand are always dry and hotter than here in Belgium,” Kawin said with ROB-tv

“In Belgium, the fields have some ice and make the speed of the ball different. I have to train hard to adapt.”

“I still commit to developing myself and waiting for my chance if I got it. I will do my best for the team and for the fans.”

OH Leuven have gone through Belgium’s Europa League play-offs, which will take place in April.
