Thailand U-23 coach Zoran Jankovic admitted that the cold weather in China could affect the training sessions of his players.
“The weather in China now is about five to six degrees [Celsius]. I am a European, who used to be a player and a coach in China, but still feel cold,” Jankovic said, as quoted by the Bangkok Post.
“It is important for our players to quickly adapt themselves to the weather here.”
The Thai team arrived in Shanghai yesterday for the AFC U-23 Championship, which takes place between 9 and 20 January.
Jankovic and his side have been drawn in Group B along with defending champions Japan, North Korea, and Palestine.
