Reinaldo Lobo reports Penang to FIFA over alleged unpaid salary

Reinaldo Lobo has reported Penang FA to FIFA, claiming the club did not pay him his salary for six months in 2017.

Lobo was replaced by Penang during last season’s mid-season transfer window due to a serious injury. However, he stayed at the club until his contract expired on 30 November.

In a press conference on Tuesday, the acting president Abdul Rashid Ismail of the Football Association of Penang (FAP) stated that they were not aware of this issue until the former president Zairil Khir Johari stepped down.

“We are in the midst of looking for a way to resolve the matter by looking for sponsors,” Abdul Rashid said, as quoted by The Star.
