Veteran head coach Fabio Capello has announced a plan to league Chinese Super League (CSL) outfit Jiangsu Suning next year.
The 71-year-old tactician joined Jiangsu Suning in the last June, but failed to meet the high expectation which was set in the beginning of season as his side finished 12th.
Capello confirmed that he will not lead Ramires, Alex Teixeira and colleagues beyond 2018, which means 2018 will be his last season to manage the Chinese club.
“I have spoken with the chairman and I do not plan to renew,” Capello told Xinhua news agency.
“I will finish the season [in 2018] as per my contract.”
The former Real Madrid and England national team manager recently has been linked to vacant Italy job and struggling AC Milan in Serie A.
