Indonesian-Japanese Ryuji Utomo signs contract with Thai League 2 outfit PTT Rayong FC

Indonesian-Japanese Ryuji Utomo has signed the contract with Thai League 2 outfit PTT Rayong FC.

According to Bolasport, Ryuji’s agent Gabriel Budi said that the arrival of U-23 Indonesia national team player would help PTT Rayong promote to the top-flight Thai League 1.

“Thank God, Ryuji Utomo officially becomes the player of PTT Rayong. This year PTT Rayong has a target of promoting to Thailand League 1,” said Gabriel Budi to BolaSport.com on Monday.

On the other hand, Budi also revealed the motivation for Ryuji to join Thai outfit.

“The reason Ryuji playing abroad is to add international experience and to finance his family, especially his ill father,” said Gabriel Budi.

Ryuji becomes the third player from Indonesia who decide to play abroad next season.

Last week, Bhayangkara FC duo Evan Dimas and Ilham Udin Armayin reached agreements to join Malaysia Super League side Selangor FA.
