Bali United striker Sylvano Comvalius has beaten Peri Sandria’s record as a top scorer in Indonesian league history.
Comvalius scored twice to help Laskar Serdadu Tridatu won over 3-2 over Sriwijaya FC in Monday’s Liga 1 encounter at Stadion Kapten I Wayan Dipta.
The two goals saw the Dutch forward move on to 35 goals this season, overtook the record of Mastrans Bandung Raya legend Peri Sandria with 34 goals in 1995 season campaign.
The 30-year-old still could add his tally as Bali United are in their course to clinch Liga 1 trophy this season with two games remaining against PSM Makassar and Gresik United.
