The Satri Angthong goalkeeper was left red-faced since he wildly celebrated a penalty miss before ball spins back into an empty net in the penalty shoot-out.
The strange penalty kick happened during the Thailand U-18 cup match between Bangkok Sports Club and Satri Angthong on 21 October.
After the match finished 2-2 in official times, a marathon penalty continued with the scores leveling at 19-19.
A Bangkok Sports Club player struck a penalty against the crossbar, unaware his shot had taken a huge bounce from the goal-line.
As Satri goalkeeper ran back towards his teammates celebrating, the ball came down and spun back into the unguarded net. He realized his error, turning around in an attempt to retrieve the situation but it was too late.
Satri Angthong would then miss their next spot-kick, as they crashed out of the last four a month before the final.
