Indonesian wonderkid Egy Maulana Vikri has been included on a list for the world’s outstanding young players.
British newspaper The Guardian has published the latest edition of their annual Top Young Footballers list, consisting of 60 youngsters from around the world.
The 17-year-old forward joins prospects from world powerhouses like Real Madrid and Barcelona on the prestigious list. He is one of six Asian players named.
Egy was a key player for Indonesia in the 2017 AFF U-18 Youth Championship in Myanmar, where he led his team into the third place and finished as top scorer with eight goals.
The Medan-born youngster was also named as the breakthrough player in the Toulon Tournament in France last July when he performed for U-19 team.
