Indonesia U-16 team has advanced to the 2018 AFC U-16 Championships following the 3-0 victory over Laos on Friday.
Indonesia have accomplished a perfect four straight wins in Group G and has now reserved its place in the championships, which will be hosted by Malaysia next year.
In the previous match, the Young Garudas clinched a narrow 1-0 win over host Thailand at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok.
“I’m totally proud of the boys and their hard work for their country. This success is for all Indonesians,” Indonesian coach Fakhri Husaini said in a statement, as quoted by the Jakarta Globe.
“We’re looking forward to the grand finals next year in Malaysia,” Rendy said.
