Malaysia will square off Thailand in the final of the AFF U-19 Championship at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon on Sunday.
Bojan Hodak’s side have booked their place in the final after edging host Myanmar 5-4 in the penalty shootout on Friday.
Sharing the same fate with Malaysia, Thailand had to overcome the penalty shootout to reach the final following the goalless draw against Indonesia in the regulation time.
Last year, Thailand failed to emerged the title after suffering a 5-1 loss against Australia in the final.
