Muangthong United coach: Sarach Yooyen is 90% fit

Muangthong United will square off Ratchaburi FC at home on Sunday as Thai League 1 has resumed after a month-long international break.

However, the Kirins have to face the injuries concerns from marquee players, including Lee Ho, goalkeeper Kawin Thamsatchanan and midfielder Sarach Yooyen.

“We only have Lee Ho who has an injury on his calf, but we have to check the national team players for their fitness level again,” coach Totchtawan Sripan told Bangkok Post.

“We are also not sure if goalkeeper Kawin Thamsatchanan will be declared fit by the team doctor. We are not sure of his return to the team.

“Sarach Yooyen is getting better in training [following a long-term injury lay-off]. He is nearly 80-90% fit and it is time for him to regain some lost confidence.”

Sarach suffered the injury in February during a Thai League 1 encounter at home to Sukhothai FC, leaving the talented 24-year-old ruling out for five to six months after breaking an ankle.
