Timor Leste U-22 coach: Our players could not control their emotions

Timor Leste head coach Kim Shin-wan was dissatisfied with the performance of his men in the 1-0 defeat against Indonesia in the third Group B match of SEA Games on Sunday.

In the post-match press conference, Kim admitted that his players do not show discipline when they involved in a row with the Indonesia side, which saw their defender, Filipe Oliveira received a red card from referee

“I wanted them to play better than they had shown in this match. This means they could not control their emotion, thus it was difficult to implement my strategy into the squad,” the Korean coach told reporters.

We have not prepared for the tournament seriously, and the players have lacked responsibility in wearing the national team outfit. As a result, the results were not what they wanted.”
