Italian club Hellas Verona is currently in negotiation with Spanish La Liga side Barcelona to sign South Korean wonderkid Lee Seung-woo, according to Yonhap News.
Yonhap, quoting a source close to the player, said that the negotiation process could be finalized this week.
The 19-year-old Lee Seung-woo joined Barcelona’s youth team in 2011. He was promoted to Barcelona “B” side, the club’s reserve team, this season. However, the club decided against registering him as a non-EU player for the La Liga 2 this season, meaning his playing time could be very limited.
