Gerd Zeise wants Myanmar U-22 to avoid Indonesia and Vietnam in the 2017 SEA Games semi-final.
The Young White Angels secured a place in the final four of the competition after thrashing Brunei 6-0 in their third game of Group A campaign.
It means that the 2015 SEA Games semi-finalists are through to the next stage with three consecutive victories after previously defeating Singapore and Laos.
“If there are any possibilities, we don’t want to meet Indonesia or Vietnam in the semi-final,” the German head coach told reporters.
Myanmar will play their final game of group stage against hosts Malaysia at Shah Alam Stadium on Monday, which will determine the group table winners.
