Agent denies Carlos Tevez leaving Shanghai Shenhua

The agent of Argentinian star striker Carlos Tevez has denied reports that his client could leave Shanghai Shenhua due to his undermined performance.

“Carlos is going to come to Argentina for a week because there is 14-day break in the Chinese League,” agent Adrian Ruocco told Radio Continental.

“There is speculation that he is coming to stay, but that is not the case as he is just coming to see his family, his people.”

There have been growing rumors that Tevez is ready to quit Chinese Super League just seven months into his two-year deal at Shanghai-based club as things have not gone according to plan for the 33-year-old, who has scored just twice in 13 games.

In June, it has been reported that the Argentina international was looking for a return to his boyhood club Boca Junior.
