The Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) have announced a 20-player squad for the upcoming SEA Games, which will be held in Malaysia later in August.
Cambodia face a tough test at the SEA Games after being drawn in a six-team Group B, along with Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Cambodia national team head coach Leonard Vittorino conceded that the draw was somewhat tough for his squad, but also welcomed the prospect of playing against some of the region’s best teams.
“It’s a strong group but it’s better to play in a group like this if you are looking to the future. Strong games, strong players and better future,” Vittorino told the Khmer Times.
