Akarawin Sawasdee signs new three-year deal with Chiangrai United

Chiangrai United have reached an agreement in extending the deal with striker Akarawin Sawasdee to three more years.

The deal has been announced on the official website of Chiangrai United. According to the statement, the Thai League 1 side have offered a new deal in return to the great effort of Akarawin since moving to the club in May.

Starting his senior career at regional club Cha Choeng Sao, the 26-year-old striker became top goal scorer and won the best striker awards in 2011 Thai Division 2 League Central and Eastern Region.

In 2012, Akarawin joined Chonburi FC but did not have opportunities to prove himself. He was moving to lower-division clubs Rayong and Nakhon Ratchasima in 2013 and 2014 respectively on loan deals before playing for Big Bang Chula United Football Club, where he scored 5 goals in 34 appearances.
