Former Chiangrai United striker Mark Bridge rejoins Western Sydney Wanderers

Striker Mark Bridge has returned to A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers after spending a season with Chiangrai United.

The fan favorite footballer has signed a two-year contract after terminating his long-term contract with Chiangrai United.

Bridge scored seven goals in 14 appearances for Chiangrai United after joining the Thai League T1 side in May last year.

However, his relationship with the club turned sour so the 31-year-old striker had to enlist the help of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) and used FIFA regulations to affect his release from Thailand.

Bridge was a key member of the Wanderers, making 112 appearances and scoring 32 goals for the club over four seasons. He is also the only player to win the Wanderers Medal, which is given to the club’s Player of the Year, on two occasions.
