FC Tokyo have agreed on a loan deal with Bangkok United for former Thailand U19 Jakkit Wachpirom, according to local media.
Following the footsteps of compatriots Sittichok Paso and Chanathip Songkrasin, the 20-year-old could become the next Thai player to enter the J.League.
After starting his career in the capital, the wonderkid joined Chainat FC for a brief period in July 2016 before returning to United five months later.
Jakkit was a key player in Thailand’s U-19 squad, who won the AFF U-19 Youth Championship title in 2015.
FC Tokyo and Bangkok United announced a partnership earlier this year, the latest in a number of similar agreements between Japanese and Southeast Asian clubs.
