India will start their first-ever FIFA U-17 World Cup journey as a host nation against USA, Ghana and Colombia.
The draw ceremony was held on Friday in Mumbai with Nwankwo Kanu and Esteban Cambiasso, former Arsenal and Inter Milan stars who have won the U-17 World Cup, participating in the process.
Twenty-four teams were drawn into six groups, with the host country in Group A by default.
This will be the first FIFA tournament hosted by India, with the South Asian country will also play the first FIFA World Cup in their football history.
Nigeria, the 2015 champions, will not be able to defend their title as they failed to reach the final round of the African qualifying tournament.
The tournament will take place at six cities on October 6-28.
