Super Power set record of most successive league defeats

Super Power’s miserable season continued with a disastrous 9-2 defeat by Pattaya United in a Thai League T1 match on Wednesday.

With Super Power’s 20th consecutive league loss, it is believed to be the new world record for most successive league defeats.

Wellington Priori and Milos Stojanovic each scored two goals for Pattaya as the team raced to a 5-0 lead at half-time.

Consolation goals from Ramses Bustos and Chokelarp Nilsang could not help the bottom-placed club from being humiliated by the hosts.

After 22 matches, the Samut Prakan-based club have only one point from their scoreless home draw with Bangkok Glass in the second game of the season.
