Hulk has been handed a two-match ban by Chinese Football Federation (CFA) for wearing the T-shirt featuring the slogan in support of compatriot and Shanghai SIPG team-mate Oscar.
Along with Hulk, SIPG’s player Wu Lei and the team’s coach Andre Villas-Boas have also been given a two-match ban.
Both players were handed fines of RMB 50000 ($7,375) each by the CFA, with Villas-Boas docked RMB16000 ($2,360) for “inappropriate comments on social media”.
Hulk and his team-mate Wu Lei were pictured wearing t-shirts bearing the slogan “NOTHING TO DO, NOTHING TO SAY” in support of Oscar after SIPG beat Henan Jianye 4-1 on Sunday.
Both were sanctioned as the CFA claimed they “affected the CSL environment in an inappropriate way”.
