According to reports from Thailand, midfielder Kroekrit Thaweekarn is likely to join Port FC from Thai League 1 side Chonburi FC.
The rumors about the possible move of Kroekrit to Port FC have been around since former Thailand national team coach Kiatisuk Senamuang is appointed the new boss of central Bangkok club.
Previously, the 26-year-old winger was a regular player in national team until Kiatisuk decided to switch the squad’s formation from 4-4-2 to 3-5-2, which saw Kroekrit and right-winger Mongkol dropped in favor of wing-backs Theerathon and Do.
During the time in Chonburi FC, Kroekrit was on loan to Esan United F.C. (now known as Sisaket F.C.) in 2012 and former Port FC club – Singhtarua a year later.
