Thailand midfielder Mongkol Tossakrai is set to return Chiangrai United at the end of a loan deal with Muangthong United.
The 29-year-old player, who is currently under the management of Army United, was playing on loan for Chiangrai United in the 2016 season.
After returning to Army in 2016, Mongkol was dropped to the bench despite being named club captain. He made the move to Muangthong United to seek for opportunities a year later.
One of the most significant goals in his international career is the opener in Thailand’s crucial World Cup qualifying game against Iraq in March 2016.
He was part of the Thailand squad that won back-to-back AFF Suzuki Cup titles in 2014 and 2016.
