Charyl Chappuis will be unveiled as the latest signing for Muangthong United, according to Bangkok Post
As playmaker Chanathip Songkrasin heading to Japan to join Consadole Sapporo on loan, Muangthong United continue to strengthen their attacking weapon with the signing of Thai-Swiss midfielder Charyl from Suphanburi.
Previously, Thai League T1 table-toppers had failed to negotiate a deal with the Charyl, however, things seem to be easier as the 25-year-old has decided not to renew his contract with Suphanburi.
A production of the famed Grasshoppers youth academy, Chappuis joined Buriram United in 2013. He had a short spell on loan with Suphanburi before joining the club on a permanent basis in 2015.
The Thai-Swiss midfielder represented Thailand U23 in the 2014 Asian Games and was also part of Thailand‘s winning squad at the 2014 and 2016 AFF Suzuki Cup.
