The FIFA U-20 World Cup debutant finished last in Group E and have a lot to learn to prepare themselves for future tournaments, especially when it comes to clinical finishing.
Vietnam earned their fist point of the tournament after drawing against New Zealand U-20 with their fast and energetic display.
However, a 4-0 defeat against France and a 2-0 loss against Honduras ended the Southeast Asian side’s hope of qualifying for the next round.
