The young Taegeuk Warriors beat Guinea 3-0 in their opening match before clinching their ticket to the next round after a 2-1 victory against Argentina.
The South Koreans were beaten 1-0 by England U-20 in the last group stage match, but the result didn’t really matter.
South Korean U-20 are set to face Group C runners-up Portugal in Round of 16 on Tuesday, 30 May.
